HypnoBirthing® -The Mongan Method
This childbirth education series supports the mind/body connection and works toward eliminating the fear~tension~pain cycle before, during and after birth. Mothers and their birth partners will be taught relaxation and self hypnosis techniques to reduce fear and tension and create a shorter more comfortable labor. Hypnosis is a naturally induced state of relaxed focused concentration. Many of us have already experienced a similar experience of self hypnosis while day dreaming. While in your labor of life, you will be aware of your surroundings and will be able to fully converse with others. You will feel totally relaxed with a sense of peace and calmness.
